Winter Session is an opportunity for people aged 18 – 25 to spend time exploring the values and spirit that give life focus and foundation. Join other young adults for a time away for learning about self\, about building healthy relationships\, about living with integrity\, about your spiritual life. Come to Winter Session.
A foundational program in Naramata Centre’s strong tradition of experiential learning\, Winter Session is a unique three-month-long living and learning experience\, offered every second winter. Allison Rennie is Director of Leadership Development and the Summer Program at Naramata Centre\, and is lead staff for Winter Session. She brings her impatience with an imperfect world\, her passion to build a better one\, her love of drama\, ritual\, quiet and music to the Winter Session community. She is a skilled group facilitator and listener\, and has been nurturing the spirits and leadership of youth and young adults for more than 20 years.
Cindy Davenport is a practical theologian and former director of DEPTH Youth Inc. at Chicago Theological Seminary. When she's not playing chase with Kirby the beagle puppy\, Cindy spends most of her time learning about young people. She brings a love for discovering what young people care about\, partnering with them in finding out what they are good at\, and a commitment to create spaces where young people can lead in a time of profound change.
