Young Teens at General Council - August 8-15th - Kelowna
Sharilynn took part in the leadership team working with12-14 year olds in a Theatre Program at General Council.  This group will respond with drama to the social justice issues that present themselves in their world and at the General Council Assembly. This was a GREAT event for YAYA Ministry... we had 11 people connected with YAYA in attendance: 2 children, 2 young teens, 1 Youth Forum, 2 Young Adults, 2 Youth Leaders & Sharilynn - Fraser YAYA minister. I hope you will engage some of these young voices to share their excitement for a service near you!

Youth Council within Fraser Presbytery
We have a vision of having a new and revised Fraser Presbytery Youth Council meeting along side and within the Presbytery meetings so that younger people may be informed and involved in the wider church processes.  Youth Council is a community of teens working within Fraser Presbytery who work together to build community and spiritual growth. If you think you or some youth you know would like to be involved... please contact Sharilynn at Fraseryaya@telus.net to see when we can gather next.

is a great way to gain leadership experience and get more involved in the wider church YOUth network.
